Welcome! I’m Rae Badour, an Essexville - Bay City native, wife to Tom and mom to six awesome young adults! I love this city on the Bay, with its charm and wonderful opportunities and new growth! I’m also a Compassion Entrepreneur with an amazing, mission-minded company “Trades Of Hope!”
The mission of Trades Of Hope is to use sustainable business and job creation to empower women out of poverty in over 16 different countries around the world, and in the USA! We sell an exclusive line of fashion accessories and home décor that are ethically hand-crafted by women rising out of poverty. This dignified business partnership is lifting them out of the slums. sweatshops, and sexual slavery that is rampant in under developed countries. Our artisans are earning consistent income in safe working conditions and are able to thrive in their communities with their families as they look hopefully into the future.
I display of a variety of unique products that our Artisans create and offer some items for sale, while the rest can be ordered online, and onsite! I also highlight a specific country and artisan group each month, along with the pieces that are created there. Additionally, fun activities (with make and takes,) and HOPE gatherings are held after hours occasionally. Interested in more? You can become involved by: purchasing, hosting a gathering of friends, or joining my team! You will find your heart stretching as your awareness grows about the many ways we are bringing hope and life to the world!
